A decade can transform industries, redefine leadership and shape the people who go on to influence the future.
As Tatler Gen.T celebrates its 10th anniversary, the launch of the Leaders of Tomorrow 2026 list marks a milestone not only for the platform, but for the community it has built. Since launching in Hong Kong in 2016, Gen.T has grown into a pan-Asian platform spanning 10 markets and 3,500 honourees, united by a shared ambition to shape what’s next.
Reflecting on the platform’s origins, Gen.T founder and Tatler Asia Group president Tamara Lamunière describes Gen.T as a deliberate response to a gap in Asia’s leadership ecosystem.
“It started as a belief that Asia needed a platform dedicated to supporting emerging talent—not only through access to capital, but through storytelling, brand building and connecting them with networks that go beyond business.”
From the outset, Gen.T was intentionally broader than entrepreneurship alone. Even during the height of the technology boom, the platform recognised that Asia’s future would be shaped equally by founders, creatives, executives, athletes, scientists and social innovators.
“We believed then, as we do now, that a rich society is made up of all shades of talent; that creatives, executives, artists and athletes all contribute as much as the entrepreneur with a valuation attached to their business.”
Over the past decade, Gen.T has evolved beyond an annual editorial list into a regional platform connecting emerging leaders through storytelling, community and curated experiences.
This year’s milestone edition recognises 100 outstanding leaders across Gen.T’s widest footprint yet, with Kazakhstan joining the community for the first time. (Mainland China’s list will launch separately in November.)
The community now spans Hong Kong, Singapore, Mainland China, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam and Kazakhstan, recognising leaders across industries including technology, healthcare, finance, sustainability, hospitality, sport and the arts.
Among this year’s honourees are Hong Kong tennis star Coleman Wong, Indonesian girl group No Na, Kazakhstani figure skater Mikhail Shaidorov, Việt Phạm of AI automation start-up Diaflow, and Jeeta Bandopadhyay, co-founder and COO of Singapore regtech company Tookitaki.
To mark its 10th anniversary, Gen.T introduces the 10x10 campaign, pairing ten past honourees who have gone on to become recognised regional and global leaders with ten members of this year’s cohort.
The campaign reflects what Gen.T has always believed: recognising potential is only the beginning. The true measure of success is what these leaders go on to build—and the impact they create over time.
Past honourees featured include Eric Gnock Fah (Klook), Joel Leong (ShopBack), Bryan Loo (Tealive), Anne Curtis, Wregas Bhanuteja and Bart Tai, alongside members of the 2026 class representing the next generation of innovators and changemakers.
“Making the list was never the goal. The goal was always what these individuals would go on to do after they made the list. We look forward to continuing to find and support the people shaping Asia—and increasingly, the world as Tatler continues to expand—with their ideas, creativity, courage and passion," Lamunière says. "We are proud to be part of their story and excited for everything still to come."
As Gen.T enters its second decade, Tatler remains committed to discovering the people shaping Asia’s future—and giving them the platform, community and opportunities to maximise their impact.
“We look forward to continuing to find and support the people shaping Asia—and increasingly, the world as Tatler continues to expand—with their ideas, creativity, courage and passion. We are proud to be part of their story and excited for everything still to come.”
